Progress report of General Prosecution Directorate, Primary court and Appeal court of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre.
A total of 102 suspects, including 5 women are detained in the connection to 86 cases of crime intoxicating and drugs during the month of April 22- May 22- 2019 by the police of Counter Narcotics and other security intelligence from all over the country and their cases are sent to Counter Narcotics Justice Centre for further prosecuting.
Of the detainees 30 of them including 5 women wanted to transfer heroin narcotic drugs and Methamphetamine using embedded techniques in their body and travel bags and embroidered dresses, and from the international airport of Hamid Karzai to India, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates Police and Prosecutors of CNJC identified and arrested them.
Based on proposal of Prosecutor General's Office and Primary Court ordered the number of 13 vehicles, 4 motorcycle, 4 weapons and 91 various cell phones taken from the smugglers are discovered and seized.
Meanwhile during the month of February 22- March 22 2018, 26 people sentenced by the CNJC Primary court addiction to 26 cases from one year up to 17 years in prison. 10 people sentenced by Appeal Court in the connection to 70 cases various imprisonment.
These people are detained by the intelligence and security organ in the link to the trafficking of more than 132 kg of drug heroin type, more than 143 kg of morphine, more than 597 kg of opium, 14387 kg of hashish, 98 kg of Methamphetamine ( Shesha ) 696 kg of Solid Chemical Substances, 8445 liter of liquid chemical, 920 gram tablet ( k) are seized and discovered from different part of the country and their cases are dispatched to counter narcotics justice Centre for further investigation and after the investigation the Courts passed the judgments against them.
On the other hand during this time after the decision of Appeal of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre the decision of 28 cases issued by Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
It should be noted that in connection with the received theorem in total the amount of ( 129,019) kg heroin, ( 59,15 ) kg morphine, ( 134,391) kg opium, ( 1681,27) kg hashish, (331,075) kg Methamphetamine, ( 9780 ) liter acid ,
( 3075,2) kg solid chemical, ( 201,08 ) liter alcohol, ( 16014 ) kg henbane and (0,046) kg tablet k and seized and discovered.
Provinces with the highest number of crime:
During the month of April 22- May 22- 2019 current year Kabul province having 34 cases and Nangarhar having12 cases of drug trafficking are at the top of the list of provinces with high-level cases of smuggling and drug trafficking.
In the course of month February- March current year in the link to 72 cases of drug trafficking crime 95 people including 3 women detained from all over the country and their cases are sent to Counter Narcotic Justice Centre for further prosecuting.
Based on last changes to the penalty code of Counter Narcotics, accordance Articles 16 and 17 of the Law, fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction CNJC has the authority of interrogation or (handling) more than 1kilogram of heroin, more than 10 kilogram of opium, more than 50 kilogram of hashish, more than 200 liter of alcoholic drink , more than 1kilogram of Morphine, more than 10 gram of intoxicating synthetic substance, more than 5 liter acid of acetic anhydride, intoxicants, and those who committed more than 50 acres of narcotic substance will be punished base on the law, the mentioned substances are from all over the country.
