Monthly Report



Progress report of General Prosecution Directorate, Primary court and Appeal court of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre.

A total of 95 suspects, including 3 women are detained in the connection to 72 cases of crime intoxicating and drugs during the month of February 22- March 22- 2019 by the police of Counter Narcotics and other security intelligence from all over the country and their cases are sent to Counter Narcotics Justice Centre for further prosecuting.

Of the detainees 16 of them wanted to transfer heroin narcotic drugs using embedded techniques in their body and travel bags and embroidered dresses, and from the international airport of Hamid Karzai to India, Saudi Arabia and England Police and Prosecutors of CNJC identified and arrested them.

Based on proposal of Prosecutor General's Office and Primary Court ordered the number of 38 vehicles, 6 motorcycle, 9 weapons and 171 various cell phones are discovered and seized taken from the smugglers and confiscated the amount of ( 259133 ) Afghan Cush and the amount of ( 5620 ) U.S. Dollar are  sent to Da Afghanistan Bank Account.

Meanwhile during the month of February  22- March  22 2019,  23 people  sentenced by the CNJC Primary court addiction to 21 cases from 2 year   up to 30 years in prison. And also  65  people including 5 women and a Pakistani citizen in the link to 37 cases are sentenced by Appeal Court in  various imprisonment. 

These people are detained by the intelligence and security organ in the link to the trafficking of more than 147 kg of drug heroin type, more than 120 kg of morphine, more than 1086 kg of opium,  6411 kg of hashish, 23 kg of Methamphetamine ( Shesha )600 kg of Solid Chemical Substances, 642 liter of liquid chemical  are seized and discovered from different part of the country and their cases are dispatched to counter narcotics justice Centre  for further investigation and after the investigation the Courts passed the judgments against them.

 On the other hand during this time after the decision of Appeal of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre the decision of 39 cases issued by Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. 

It should be noted that in connection with the received theorem in the month of Feb22- March22 2019   in total the amount of ( 81,933) kg heroin, ( 17,4) kg morphine, ( 534,512) kg opium, ( 1337,54) kg hashish, (54,505) kg Methamphetamine, ( 103 ) liter acid , ( 2,37) kg solid chemical, ( 6939,2) liter alcohol, ( 16.14 ) kg henbane and (0,525) kg tablet k are  seized and discovered. 

2018 during the month of  Province  with the highest number of crime: 

During the month Feb22- March 22   2019 current year Kabul province having 29 cases and Nangarhar having11 cases of drug trafficking are at the top of the list of provinces with high-level cases of smuggling and drug trafficking.

In the course of month December 2018  –January 2019  current year in the link to 73 cases of drug trafficking crime 100 people including 1 women and a Pakistani citizen  detained from all over the country and their cases are sent to Counter Narcotic Justice Centre for further prosecuting. 

Based on last changes to the penalty code of Counter Narcotics, accordance Articles 16 and 17 of the Law, fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction CNJC has the authority of interrogation or (handling) more than  1kilogram of heroin, more than  10 kilogram of opium, more than  50 kilogram of hashish, more than  200  liter of alcoholic drink , more than  1 kilogram of Morphine, more than  10 gram of intoxicating synthetic substance, more than  5 liter acid of acetic anhydride, intoxicants, and those who  committed more than 50 acres of narcotic substance will be punished base on the law, the  mentioned substances are from all over the country.
