On 13th February 2018, Richard Riley Assistant Chief of Mission for U.S Embassy in Afghanistan toured Counter Narcotics Justice Center Met with CNJC delegations.
Assistant Chief of Mission was accompanied along with Mr Christopher Costantini legal adviser, Mr. Mario Fernandez Director of INL and Mr. Corrie Robb Deputy Director of INL.
At the beginning of his visit, he met with Mr. Abdul Quyum Halim Director of Appeal Court, accompanied by Miss Baharki Head of Primary Court, Mr. Juma Gul Farooqi Head of CNJC Investigation Prosecution, Mr. Zalmai Qasim Head of Primary Prosecution, Mr. Mohammad Hashim Istankzai Head of CNJC Oversight Prosecution and Abdul Jamil Ghafari Head of CJTF Police Investigation and Laboratory Dept.
CNJC authorities welcomed the Assistant Chief of Mission for U.S. Embassy and shed light on the work process and achievements of CNJC over the years.
Aim of this visit from Assistant Chief of Mission for U.S. Embassy was to identify with CNJC delegations and to familiarize the working process of this Center.
Richard Riley Assistant Chief of Mission for U.S Embassy expressed his happiness and he added that the activities of this center are very effective in prosecuting the judiciary of smugglers and drug traffickers.
