Based on police investigation and laboratory department’s report, during (Qaous) of 1396 ( December 2017 )in total 57 cases related to 63 suspects including 3 from public service , 2 woman suspect , their cases have been referred to this department from across the country after primary investigation is done and averted to CNJC Prosecution Directorate for further investigation.
Based on the report of counter narcotics justice center (CNJC) apart from previous remaining cases of last month also completed the investigation of 60 cases of counter narcotics.
General prosecution department (CNJC) during the Same period 55 cases referred to the primary court have averted 37 cases to appeal court, and 21 cases referred to the supreme court of Islamic republic of Afghanistan.
Based to the report of this department during the month of December 2017, 18 cases from supreme courts of Islamic republic of Afghanistan, the decision has been issued.
This department during mentioned year of 2017 a total of 14 vehicles, 1 motor bike, 47 different types of mobile phone which were obtained from the smugglers and confiscated , also the amount of ( 44818725 ) Afghani currency and the amount of (240483 $ U.S. dollar ) obtained from the traffickers and sent to Prosecution Account in Da Afghanistan Bank.
At the same time during the month of December 2017, from the primary court of counter narcotic 43 suspects convicted from 2 years and six month up to 20 years of imprisonment. And also from the Appeal court of counter narcotic 19 suspects convicted to imprisonment and only two suspect has been released as there was not enough evidence against them.
The total amount of seized narcotics cases have been received by the CNJC Investigation and Laboratory Department in the month December 2017 is written below:

(43, 2) Kilograms of morphine
(1723, 74) kilograms of opium
(36148, 75) kilograms of hashish
(1996, 65) liters of solid chemical
(1244, 5) liters of liquid chemical
(583, 2) Alcoholic Drinks
Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drugs crimes: Kabul province having 22 cases and Nangarhar province having 10 cases are topped the list of provinces. (During the month of December)
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes :Khost,Daikundi, Nurstan, Panjshir, Bamyan, Wardak, Sar-pal, Samangan, Pakteka, Urazgan, Laghman, Kunar, Kapesa, Kundiz, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Ghzani, farah, Badghiz.
