More than 9 and a half tons of various types of drugs have been seized and burned after the enforcement and order of court of Counter narcotics justice Center in the city of Kabul .
More than eight and a half tons of drugs , which have been seized and burned today, the major cases of drug trafficking, prosecuted by the Counter narcotics Justice Center (CNJC) , and the perpetrators have been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.
The total amount of drugs and Intoxicating that were burned today include:
Heroin 152.21 kg
Opium 445.878 kg
Morphine 157.625 kg
Hashish 569.858 kg
Cristal (shisha) 5,033 kg
Crystal 3.900 kg
Acid 1,790 Liters
Fermented raisin 51.520 liters
Solid chemical 72.46 kg
Tablet (k) 1,506 kg
Alcoholic Drinks 8145.496 liters
The above mentioned quantities of drugs were seized, during the year 1395, 1396, discovered and detained by Afghan security and detective organization during joined operations by the Counter Narcotics Police in Kabul.
The seized and burned drugs today, are within the jurisdiction of counter narcotics justice center (CNJC), relates to 445 major drug and drug trafficking cases involving 555 people including 24 women, 35 public service personnel, 6 citizens of Iran and one person citizen of Pakistan has been arrested and sentenced to 20 years in prison by the courts of this center (CNJC)
It is noteworthy that CNJC established In Islamic Year of 1384 (May 2005) in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction has the authority of interrogation or (handling) at least 2 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of opium, 50 kilograms of hashish, 50 kilograms of chemicals, Chemical and 50 liters of alcohol or intoxicants are from all over the country.
