Investigation and Laboratory Department & CNJC Prosecution Directorate’s monthly activities report
Based on police investigation and laboratory department’s report, within Aqrab of 1396 ( November 2017 ) , in total 36 cases related to 51 suspects including 2 from public service , 5 woman and one Iranian citizen, their cases have been referred to this department from across the country after primary investigation is done and averted to CNJC Prosecution Directorate for further investigation.
Based on the report of counter narcotics justice center (CNJC) apart from previous remaining cases of last month also completed the investigation of 48 cases of counter narcotics.
Counter narcotics Justice Center (CNJC) During the Same period 93 cases referred to the competent courts and have averted 52 cases to primary court, 24 cases to the appeal court, and 17 cases to the supreme courts public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan.
Within the report of this department during the month of November, 60 case from Primary court, 27 cases from appeal court and 24 cases from supreme courts public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan, the decision has been issued.
This department during mentioned year of 2017 a total of 17 vehicles, 2 motor bike, 67 different types of mobile phone which were obtained by the smugglers and confiscated , also the amount of ( 64480 ) Afghani currency and the amount of 600$ U.S. dollar has taken from the traffickers and sent to Da Afghanistan Bank.
At the same time during the month of November 2017 68 suspects convicted from six month up to 20 years of imprisonment by the primary courts , and also from the appeal court 40 suspects convicted from five years up to 20 years of imprisonment and remaining 4 who were release as there wasn’t any evidence against them.
The total amount of seized narcotics cases have been received by the CNJC Investigation and Laboratory Department in the month November 2017 is written below:

(1782.2) kilograms of opium
(1552) kilograms of hashish
(304.68) liters of liquid chemicals
(1857) Alcoholic Drinks
Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drugs crimes: Kabul province having 12 case and Herat province having 4 cases are topped the list of provinces.
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes : Logar, Khost,Daikundi, Nurstan, Panjshir, Bamyan, Wardak, Sar- Pul, Samangan, Parwan, Pakteka, Urazgan, nemrooz, Laghman, Kunar, Kapesa, Ghor, and Badkhshan.
