Arrest of 11 drug traffickers during the last seven days

In the course of the current week, it was linked to 12 cases of drug crimes, 11 suspects from provinces of the country are detained by the Counter Narcotics Police and security organs, and their cases are sent to Criminal Justice Task Force for further investigation.

Police arrested these suspects from the provinces of Kabul, Kapisa, Paktika, Nangarhar, Panjshir. 

Among the detainees are three suspects, including a female suspect they wanted to transfer 941 grams of heroin to India from Hamid Karzai International Airport.

In total Police collectively accounted for more than 19 kilograms of heroin, more than 89 kilograms of opium, 533 kilograms of Hashish , 700 dollars, 130,600 Pakistani kaldar , one weapon, 11 mobile phones, 30  round carriers, one transmitter and 7 vehicles Sized and obtained.

Criminal justice Task Force  was set up by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in May 2005 and has a mandate from the counter Narcotics Law to investigate and prosecute all serious intoxicating drinks and drug-relating offences from across the country Based on articles 17 and 18 of  the Law against Intoxicating Drinks and Drugs gives the prosecutors and judge’s jurisdiction over cases involving:  2 or more Kg of Heroin, 10 or more Kg of Opium , 50 or over Kg of Hashish and chemical procurers, 50 or over liters of Alcohol,  from all over country.
