Investigation and Laboratory Department & CJTF prosecution directorate’s monthly progress activities report:
Based on police investigation and laboratory department’s report, within month of Jawza of Islamic year of 1396 (22May-22June 2017) in total 51 cases related to 68 suspects include, four public civilian, and two woman and two foreigner from Iran and Pakistan have been referred to CJTF Investigation and Laboratory (ILD) from across the country and averted to CJTF special prosecution directorate for further investigation and primary investigations is already done by (ILD).
Based on information of CJTF general prosecution’s directorate, in addition to the previous month’s unprocessed cases of 49 and within this period, 29 new cases, from Investigation and laboratory police of Criminal Justice Task force the total cases are 78, among those 43 cases of crime, alcohol and drug research has been completed.
CJTF general Prosecution directorate during the same period has referred 74 cases to the competent courts and has averted 46 cases to primary court, 18 cases to the appeal court, and 10 cases sent to Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
According to the report of this department in pursuance of 30 case of the primary court, in relation to 20 cases from special prosecution of appeal court, and 14 cases to the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan the decision has been issued.
This department during the month of Jawza 1396 (22 May- 22 June 2017 ) received a total of 10 vehicles, and 29 different types of Mobile phone sets which were obtained by the smugglers confiscated, and also the Amount of 188350 Afghanis, and the Amount of US $ 3127 attainment from the traffickers and sent to Da Afghanistan Bank .
In the report of general department of investigation and laboratory of police mentioned the total amount of seized narcotics whose cases have been received by the department of CJTF in month of Jawza of 1396 (22May - 22June 2017) is written below:
(244,135 kilogram) of Heroin
(2500 kilogram) of Morphine
(1334 kilograms) of Opium
(317,525kg) of Hashish
(6340,9 kg) liters of liquid chemicals
(4524,1 liters) of Alcohol
Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drug crimes: Kabul province having 17 cases, Nangarhar province having 12 cases, Namrooz Province having 7 cases is topped the list of provinces.
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes cases:Khost,Daykundi,Nuristan,Panjshir,Zabel,Wardak,Sar-e pol, Samangan,Paktika,Uruzgan,Laghman,Kunar,kapisa,Ghor,Faryab,Farah,Badghis,Helmand,Ghazni,Badkhshan, Baghlan.
