Progress report of Investigation& Laboratory of Police, General Prosecution Directorate, Primary court and Appeal court of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre.
A total of 135 suspects, including 4 women and a Iranian citizen are detained in the connection to114 cases of crime intoxicating and drugs during the month of May 22- 2019 to June 22-2019 by the police of Counter Narcotics and other security intelligence from all over the country and their cases are sent to Counter Narcotics Justice Centre for further prosecuting.
Of the detainees 20 of them including 2 women wanted to transfer heroin narcotic drugs using embedded techniques in their body and travel bags and embroidered dresses, and from the international airport of Hamid Karzai to India, Saudi Arabia Police and Prosecutors of CNJC identified and arrested them.
All the above mentioned cases have been processed within 72 hours by the Investigation& Laboratory of Police and for further prosecuting dispatched all the cases of the suspects to General Prosecution Department.
Based on proposal of Prosecutor General's Office and Primary Court ordered the number of 36 vehicles, 5 motorcycle, 8 weapons and 181 various cell phones taken from the smugglers are discovered and seized and also the amount of 331210 Afghani cash and the amount of 3500 U.S. dollar attainment from drug traffickers and sent to Da Afghanistan Bank Account.
Meanwhile during the month May 22- 2019 to June 22-2019 26 people sentenced by the CNJC Primary court addiction to 23 cases from one year up to 11 years in prison. And also 87 people sentenced by Appeal Court in the connection to 60 cases various imprisonment.
These people are detained by the intelligence and security organ in the link to the trafficking of more than 92 kg of drug heroin type, more than 326 kg of morphine, more than 1803 kg of opium, 1137 kg of hashish, 60 kg of Methamphetamine ( Shesha ) 75 kg of Solid Chemical Substances, 188 liter of liquid chemical, 290 gram tablet ( k) are seized and discovered from different part of the country and their cases are dispatched to counter narcotics justice Centre for further investigation and after the investigation the Courts passed the judgments against them.
On the other hand during this time after the decision of Appeal of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre the decision of 63 cases issued by Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
It should be noted that in connection with the received theorem in total the amount of (131,465) kg heroin, ( 110) kg morphine, ( 677,886) kg opium, (998,3) kg hashish, ( 24197 ) kg poppy ( 33.663 ) Methamphetamine, (229.88 ) liter acid , ( 88,9 ) solid chemical, ( 1213) liter liquid chemical.
Provinces with the highest number of crime:
During the month of May 22- 2019 to June 22-2019 current year Kabul province having 50 cases and Nangarhar having14 cases of drug trafficking are at the top of the list of provinces with high-level cases of smuggling and drug trafficking.
In the course of month April 22- May 22- 2019 in the link to 100 cases of drug trafficking crime 124 people including 5 women and an Iranian citizen detained from all over the country and their cases are sent to Counter Narcotic Justice Centre for further prosecuting.
Based on last changes to the penalty code of Counter Narcotics, accordance Articles 16 and 17 of the Law, fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction CNJC has the authority of interrogation or (handling) more than 1kilogram of heroin, more than 10 kilogram of opium, more than 50 kilogram of hashish, more than 200 liter of alcoholic drink , more than 1kilogram of Morphine, more than 10 gram of intoxicating synthetic substance, more than 5 liter acid of acetic anhydride, intoxicants, and those who committed more than 50 acres of narcotic substance will be punished base on the law, the mentioned substances are from all over the country.
