Within the past few days, 28 people convicted in the link to 20 cases of drug trafficking crime by the Primary court and Appeal Court of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre (CNJC) from two year and six month up to 20 years prison.
These people detained by Counter Narcotics Police in connection to trafficking by More than 49 kilogram of heroin drugs, more than 17 kilogram of morphine, 14 kilogram of opium, 1815 kilogram of hashish, 16140 liters of acetic anhydride, 1224 liters of alcoholic beverages, more than 2 kilogram of psychedelic tablets (tablet k) , 545 gram of methamphetamine and 600 liter of hydrochloric acid from different parts of the country and their cases are dispatched to CNJC for further prosecuting.
Based on new changes to the penalty code of Counter Narcotics, accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Law, fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction CNJC has the authority of interrogation or (handling) at least 1 kilogram of heroin, 10 kilogram of opium, 50 kilogram of hashish, and 200 liter of alcoholic drink , 1 kilogram of Morphine, 10 gram of intoxicating synthetic substance, 5 liter acid of acetic anhydride, intoxicants, and those who committed more than 50 acres of narcotic substance will be punished base on the law , the mentioned substances are from all over the country.
During this period Counter Narcotics Police and other Security and Detective Organizations in connection to drug trafficking crime 11 suspects in the link to 9 cases are detained and their cases are dispatched to Counter Narcotics Justice Center for further prosecuting.
Among detainees 3 of them intended to transfer narcotic drugs heroin types carrying in their body (swelling) and travel luggages from Hamid Karzai International Airport to India New Delhi, they were identified and arrested by the Prosecution Police of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre.
Police arrested the mentioned people from provinces of Kabul, Nangarhar, Balkh, Herat and Baghlan along with drug and cash money from detainees with a total of more than 6 kilogram of heroin, 23 kilogram of opium, 195 kilogram of hashish, 14,000 kilogram of poppy, 115 gram of Cristal, more than 704 liters of alcoholic beverages, and 47 psychedelic (tablet k) amount of 1600 U.S. dollar, 5000 Afghani rupees, 8 cell phones and 4 vehicle seized and discovered.
