Progress report of Investigation and Laboratory Department & General Prosecution Directorate & Appeal Court and Primary of CNJC

Based on the Progress report of Investigation and Laboratory Department of police during the month of May – 22- to June 22 -2018 Counter Narcotics Police and other security and detective organization in connection with 67 cases of drug trafficking 92 people including 6 woman, 1 from public service and 1 Iranian citizen detained from all over the country and their cases are dispatched to Counter Narcotics Justice Centre for further prosecuting.

Among detainees 25 of them intended to hide and transfer narcotic drugs heroin type carrying in their body (swelling) and travel luggages from Hamid Karzai International Airport to India New Delhi and Saudi Arabia eventually they were recognized and detained by the police of prosecution Counter Narcotics Justice Centre.

Based on the proposal of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Primary Court, number of 23 vehicle ,  110 different type of  mobile set  1 motorcycle  and 4  different weapons obtained and confiscated  from smugglers ,also the amount of 46305 Afghani cash money  along with 1900 US dollars attainment from drug  traffickers and dispatched to Da Afghanistan Bank.

Meanwhile during the month of  May – 22- to June 22 -2018 from the Primary and Appeal court 45 people in the link to 40 cases of drug trafficking crimes put into prison from one year up to twenty year. 

 On the other hand, during this time after the decision of the Appeals Court of counter narcotics justice center by the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan the decision have been issued for 24 people. 

It is noteworthy that the total aforementioned cases amount of( 362,165 ) kg heroin ( 3758,6 ) kg morphine ( 5824,4 ) kg opium ( 16846,075 ) kg hashish ( 2281,034) kg  solid chemical substance , (3,055)kg Cristal shisha, ( 3330) liter alcoholic drunk , ( 151) liter acid, ( 5295) pills of Tablet K are discovered and seized. 

 Provinces with the highest number of crime cases and drugs:

During the month of May – 22- to June 22 -2018 of current year   Kabul province having 33 cases, Nangarhar province having 12 cases of drug trafficking are at the top of the list of provinces with high-level cases of smuggling and drug trafficking.

The provinces of Daikundi, Panjshir, Wardak, Sar-i-Pul, Paktia, Uruzgan, Kunar, Ghor, Ghazni, Faryab, Bamyan, Logar, Badghis, Samangan, Paktika, Kunduz, and Nursultan are among the provinces that  there are no cases of smuggling and drug trafficking registered with CNJC.

Meanwhile, during the Month of April 22 to May 22 2018 of current year in the link to 66 cases of drug crimes 73 people including 5 women and 4 public service agents detained from across the country, and their cases are dispatched to CNJC for further prosecuting.

It is noteworthy that CNJC established In Islamic Year of 1384 (May 2005) in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction CNJC  has the authority of interrogation or (handling) at least 1 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of opium, 50 kilograms of hashish, and 200  liters of alcoholic drink , one kilogram of Morphine,  10 gram of intoxicating  synthetic substance, 5 liter Acid of Acetic Anhydride, intoxicants,  committed more than 50 acres of narcotic substance will be punished base on the law ,  are from all over the country.
