During Fourth quarter of the year 2017 in total 177cases related to 218 suspects including 7 from public service, 6women and 2 Iranian Citizen, in connection to drug trafficking from all over the country their cases are dispatched to the mentioned department, the primary Investigation of all the cases completed and for further investigation has been sent to the Counter narcotics Justice center (CNJC).
Based on Information of General Prosecution Department of (CNJC) this department has completed the Investigation of 176 cases of drug and intoxicating.
During this period General Prosecution Directorate dispatched 164 cases to the Primary court, 103 cases to Appeal Court, 47 cases to the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan.
During the fourth Quarter of the year 2017 the mentioned department received a total of 69 vehicles, 6 Motor Bike, and 227 Mobile phone, from the drug traffickers and so the amount of (194012) Afghani including amount of (4410) U.S. Dollar attainment from the traffickers and sent to Da Afghanistan Bank..
At the same time during the fourth quarter of 2017, 124 suspects convicted from one year and one day up to 20 years of imprisonment, and also during this period the appeal court convicted 87 suspects, into different imprisonment and punishment.

Provinces with the highest number of crime cases and drugs
Kabul having 62 cases and Nangarhar province, having 33 cases being among the provinces. During the past three months (Jadi , Dalwa and Hoot ) of 1396 are top of the list of provinces with high-level cases of smuggling and drug trafficking in CNJC.
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes cases:
Khost, Daikundi, Panjshir, Zabul, Wardak, Saripul, Paktika, Kunar, Kapisa, Ghor, Ghazni, Faryab, Farah, Bamiyan and Nuristan, among the provinces during the Month of Hoot 1396 There are no crime cases of smuggling and drug trafficking In CNJC.
