During seven days, in connection with the 10 cases, eight suspected drug traffickers from different provinces were detained by the police of Counter Narcotics and other Security and Intelligence organization. And their cases were sending to the Counter Narcotics Justice Center for Further Investigation.
In the course of seven days, police have arrested 4 suspect who intend to transport more than 2kilograms of heroin from Hamid Karzai International Airport to India (New Delhi).
They have been arrested by police from Kabul, Nangarhar, and Kandahar.
Over the past seven days, more than 3 kilograms of heroin, 94 kilograms of opium, 1229 kilograms of hashish , 56,000 Afghanis, 1800 dollars, 11 telephones, one weapon, 14 Round and 4 different vehicles, Seized by police from drug traffickers.
Nine Drug traffickers have been put in prison from one year up to 16 year by Primary Court of Counter Narcotics. And also 10 suspects sentenced to different penalties of imprisonment by the Appeal Court Counter Narcotics.
It is noteworthy that CNJC established In Islamic Year of 1384 (May 2005) in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction has the authority of interrogation or (handling) at least 2 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of opium, 50 kilograms of hashish, 50 kilograms of chemicals, Chemical and 50 liters of alcohol or intoxicants are from all over the country.
