Police arrested 11 drug traffickers

During the last  seven days, 11 suspect  detained by the  Counter Narcotic police  and other security , intelligence organization  from different provinces of the country  and their cases are dispatched to Counter Narcotic Justice Center For Further prosecuting.

among the suspects, reached to this center 6 offender arrested in connection with 5 separate cases, which in total they intend to transfer 1,428 kilograms of heroin from the international Hamid Karzai Airport to India, this 11 suspect arrested in Kabul, Nangarhar, Herat, Parwan.

Police detected more than 16 kilograms of heroin, 12 kilograms of opium, 558 kilograms of hashish, 4200 dollars, 12 cell phones and 5 different vehicles, from detainees. Meanwhile, during the -mentioned period Primary Court of Counter Narcotics  sentenced 9   suspect  from five  years  up to 16  years of imprisonment.

And also 2 suspects sentenced to different penalties of imprisonment by the Appeal Court Counter Narcotics.  In the meantime, during the Month of February   2018) a total of 57 cases were filed with 59 suspects, including 2 women, and one Iranian citizen suspected of drug trafficking are arrested in different part of the country and their cases are dispatched to this center. 

 It is noteworthy that CNJC established In Islamic Year of 1384 (May 2005) in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction has the authority of interrogation or (handling) at least 2 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of opium, 50 kilograms of hashish, 50 kilograms of chemicals, Chemical and 50 liters of alcohol or intoxicants are from all over the country.
