During the past seven days, security and intelligence forces arrested 18 suspects, including 2 public service in connection with crimes of drug trafficking from different provinces of the country, and dispatched them to the Counter Narcotics Justice Center for further prosecuting.
Among the suspects, two of them were arrested from Hamed Karzai International Airport, in two separate cases for the purpose of transferring narcotic drugs to India.
The Intelligence and detective organization Said, during this week three drug factories has been discovered and destroyed in Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan.
Afghanistan security and intelligence forces during the last seven days seized and discovered a total of more than 131 kilograms of heroin, more than 823 kilograms of opium, more than 369 kilograms of hashish, 122 liters of acid, 205 liters of alcohol, 24,800 Afghani, 300 dollars, 3000 Indian currency, 1 weapon, 64 round, 3 handheld bombers, 19 cell phones and 8 different type of vehicle.
Meanwhile, during the -mentioned period, from the Primary Court of Counter narcotic 6 suspects from 3 years and six month up to 16 years sentenced to prison . And also 5 suspects sentenced to prison by the Appeal Court Of Counter Narcotic Justice Center.
In the meantime, during the( Dec22 2017 – 22 Jan 2018 ) a total of 55 cases were filed with 73 person, including 2 public service, 3 female and one Iranian citizen suspected of drug trafficking in different part of the country dispatched to this center .
It is noteworthy that CNJC established In Islamic Year of 1384 (May 2005) in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction has the authority of interrogation or (handling) at least 2 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of opium, 50 kilograms of hashish, 50 kilograms of chemicals, Chemical and 50 liters of alcohol or intoxicants are from all over the country.
