10 suspects were sentenced to drug trafficking

During the past seven days, the Counter Narcotics Police and detective Security organization in a   linked to 11 cases involving 16 people, including 2 women, arrested on suspicion of transportation of drugs and narcotics from various provinces, and their cases send to the Counter Narcotic Justice Center for further investigation. 

Among the detainees there were 9 people who intended to transfer a total of 7.439 kilograms of heroin separately from Hamid Karzai International Airlines to India.

Altogether 11 cases were arrested by police during drug trafficking and alcoholic beverages, including 16 women, including 2 women from provinces: Kabul, Herat, Baghlan and Kandahar.

Police have seized more than 9 kilograms of heroin, more than 18 kilograms of morphine, more than 25 kilograms of opium, 69 kilograms of hashish, 3105 U.S dollars, 28150 Afghans, 59800 Indian Currency , 9500 Pakistani  currency , 17 cell phones and 3 different vehicles.

Meanwhile, within the above-mentioned cases, the primary court has been sentenced three people from two years and six month up to twenty years in prison, and also 10 people have been sentenced by the Appeal Court of Counter Narcotic to 10 years of imprisonment.
