investigation and Laboratory department, General Prosecution department, Primary court and Appeal court (CNJC).
During third quarter of the year 2017 in total 135 cases related to 168 suspects including 9 from public service, 12 women and 2 Iranian Citizen, in connection to drug trafficking from all over the country their cases sent to the mentioned department, the primary investigation of all the cases completed and for further investigation has been sent to the Counter narcotics Justice center (CNJC).
Based on information of general prosecution department of (CNJC) this department has completed the investigation of 147 cases of drug and intoxicating.
During this period General Prosecution directorate sent 150 cases to the Primary court, 85 cases to appeal court, 53 cases to the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan.
Based on the report of this department , in link , of 52 cases from Supreme Court’s of Islamic republic of Afghanistan the decision has been issued.
During the third quarter of the year 2017 the mentioned department received a total of 42 vehicles, 3 Motor Bike, and 168 mobile phone, from the traffickers and so the amount of (44914985) Afghani including amount of (241083) U.S. Dollar attainment from the traffickers and sent to Pashtany bank for temporary.
At the same time during the third quarter of 2017, 174 suspects convicted from two year six month, up to 20 years of imprisonment, and also during this period the appeal court convicted 83 suspects, and 9 remaining has been released as there was no evidence against them.

Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drug crimes:
Kabul province with 44 cases, Nangarhar with 22case, are topped of the list of provinces (third Quarter)
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes cases: Khost , Daikundi, , Wardak , Bamyan,Samangan,Urzgan, and Laghman are the provinces without drug crime cases ( third Quarter )
