Memorandum of Understanding between Counter Narcotics Justice Center and British Ambassador in Kabul.

  This Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 15th of November 2017 by the representative of CNJC and other relevant organizations, Khalil Bakhtiar, Deputy Minister of Counter Narcotic and Sir Nicholas Kay KCMG, British Ambassador to Kabul.

The British Ambassador to Kabul, when signing this memorandum, reaffirmed the commitment of his country to continue its cooperation in combating production, and drugs trafficking in Afghanistan.

The above-mentioned agreement was signed with the cooperation of British embassy for Counter narcotic Justice Center, which has been ongoing since 2005.

The text of this memorandum is based on the engagement of the United Kingdom in the logistical, technical, financial assistance, capacity building of the CNJC staff, 

Meanwhile, Khalil Bakhtiar, the Deputy  Minister  of  Counter Narcotic of Interior Ministry  of the country asked the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain to  help the Afghan government in its efforts to eradicate the cultivation, production and trafficking of narcotics in Afghanistan,

This is despite the fact that the United Kingdom has been contributing over a decade of struggle against, drug trafficking, production, cultivation in Afghanistan.

It is noteworthy that CJTF established In Islamic Year of 1384 in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction has the authority of handling at least 2 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of opium, 50 kilograms of hashish, 50 kilograms of chemicals, Chemical and 50 liters of alcohol or intoxicants are from all over the country.
