Police in Takhar province burned 1,500 kilograms of narcotics that had been seized in the past year.
Officials from Takhar province say the amount of drugs was heroin, morphine, opium, hashish and alcoholic beverages, which were discovered by security forces during the year 1395.
Police said 57 people were arrested, 68 vehicles and 13 different weapons were involved in transportation and smuggling of this amount of drugs and sized.
According to officials in Takhar province, and security forces this year destroyed more than 200 acres of land poppy-cultivated.
