Investigation and Laboratory Department, and General Special Prosecution Directorate of Counter and intoxicating drug:
According to the information of investigation and laboratory of police: during the first quarter of year of 1396, in total 126 cases related to 156 suspects including four from public service, three foreigners and four women from across the country is registered to this department and their primary investigation is done and for further investigation the cases has been sent to the General Special prosecution directorate of (CJTF).
According to the information of General Special Prosecution department of CJTF: this department apart from 126 cases remaining from the previous month and 130 new cases from investigation laboratory of police of CJTF, in total 256 cases, only 126 cases from mentioned total investigation completed .
Special general prosecution department of CJTF, during this period sent 137 cases to the primary Court, 81 cases to the Appeal Court, and sent 62 cases to the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Based on the report of this directorate during the resurrection, for 117 cases sent to the primary Court, in relation to 87 cases from special Appeal Court of counter narcotics, 65 cases from Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan the decision has been issued.
During the first quarter of year of 1396 the mentioned department received a total of 56 vehicles and 134 type of mobile set phone, from the traffickers and so the amount of 234203 Afghani including amount of 5337 U.S. Dollar attainment from the traffickers and sent to Pashtany bank for temporary.
In the report of general department of investigation and laboratory of police mentioned the total amount of seized narcotics whose cases have been received by the department of CJTF in the first quarter of 1396 is written below:
(763,649 kilograms) of heroin
(2530.86 kg) morphine
(1766.4 kg) of opium
(9395, 398 kg) of hashish
(7,352.96 kg) solid chemicals
(302, 5) liters of liquid chemicals
(6307.6 liters) of alcoholic beverages
Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drug crimes: Kabul province with 44 cases, Nanagarhar with, 26 cases, and Namrooz Province having 10 cases is topped the list of provinces.
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes cases : ,Nuristan, ,Wardak, ,Sar-e pol, Samangan, Paktika, ,Uruzgan, Laghman, kapisa, ,Faryab, Badghis.
