Investigation and Laboratory Department & CJTF prosecution directorate’s monthly activities report:
Based on police investigation and laboratory department’s report, within month of Sawer of Islamic year of 1396 (May 2017) in total 35 cases related to 41 suspects include one woman and one Iranian citizen have been referred to CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Dep (ILD) from across the country and averted to CJTF prosecution Directorate for further investigation purposes after primary investigations done by ILD.
Based on CJTF prosecution’s report, by receiving the cases, the CJTF Prosecution Directorate: in addition to the previous month’s unprocessed cases of 42 and within this period, 46 new cases, the total cases are 88, among those 39 cases of crime, alcohol and drug research has been completed.
CJTF Prosecution department during the same period 86 cases referred to the competent courts and has averted 46 cases to primary court, 23 cases to the appeal court, and 17 cases to Supreme Court’s public security bureau.
According to the report of this department For 37 case of the primary court, in relation to 30 cases from appeal court, for 17 cases to the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan The decision has been issued.
This department during the month of Sawer 1396 ( May 2017 ) A total of 17 vehicles, And 48 different types of mobile phone sets which were obtained by the smugglers confiscated, As well as the amount of 45853 Afghanis, And the amount of US $ 2210 has been taken from traffickers and sent to Pashtany Bank on loan.
The total amount of seized narcotics whose cases have been received by the CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Department in month of Sawer of 1396 (May 2017) is written below:

(203.7 kilograms) of opium
(3595.128 kilograms) of hashish
(1010.7 kg) of solid chemicals
(302.5) liters of liquid chemicals
(746.75 liters) of alcohol
Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drug crimes: Kabul province having 14 cases, Nangarhar province having 5 cases, Herat Province having 4 cases is topped the list of provinces.
Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes cases : ,Logar, Khost , Daykundi, Nuristan, Zabel, Wardak, Takhar, Sar-e pol, Samangan, Paktika, Uruzgan, Laghman, Kundiz, Kunar, kapisa, Jowzjan, Ghor, Faryab,Farah, Bamyan, Balkh, Badghis.
