Investigation and Laboratory Department CJTF prosecution directorate’s monthly activities report:

Based on police investigation and laboratory department’s report, within 22 March – 22 April 2017 (month of Hamal 1396) in total 40 cases related to 47 suspects have been referred to CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Dep (ILD) from across the country and averted to CJTF prosecution Directorate for further investigation purposes after primary investigations done by ILD.

Based on CJTF prosecution’s report, by receiving the cases, the CJTF Prosecution Directorate preceded, in addition to the previous month’s unprocessed cases. Within this period, the CJTF prosecution has averted 90 cases, investigation of 44 cases of Alcohol and drug crimes were completed.

Within this period, the CJTF prosecution has averted 45 cases to the primary court, 40 cases to the Appeal Court, and 35 cases to the Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic republic of Afghanistan.

It’s worth mentioning: that based on CJTF Prosecution’s report of 22 March – 22 April 2017 (month of Hamal 1396) 36 cases have been finalized by the Afghan Supreme court’s public Security Bureau.

The total amount of seized narcotics whose cases have been received by the CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Department in 22 March – 22 April 2017 (month of Hamal 1396)   as below:

 (204, 169 kilograms) of heroin

 (30, 86 kg) of morphine

 (228, 7 kilograms) of opium

 (5482, 745 kilograms) of hashish

 (1, 36 kilograms) of solid chemicals

 (1036, 75 liters) of alcohol

Provinces with the most cases of alcohol and drug crimes : Kabul province having 13 cases, Nangarhar province having 9 cases and Badakhshan province having 5 cases are topped the list of provinces have been the case.

Provinces without alcohol and drugs crimes cases : Helmand, Balkh, Panjshir, Kundiz, Ghzani, Faryab ,Logar, Kandahar , Uruzgan , kapisa, Sar-e pol, Daykundi, Nuristan, Wardak, Samangan, Paktika, Badghis, Ghor, Jowzjan, Laghman, Kunar, and Bamyan.
