Third Quarter 1395 (October- December 2016)


CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Department:

In the third  quarter of 1395, the CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Dept received 135 serious narcotics and intoxicating drinks cases including 129 suspects from across the country.

The total quantities of seized drugs along with their cases were sent to the CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Dept within the third quarter of 1395, are as follows:

598.857 kg heroin

28290  kg morphine

129.24604 kg opium

70001kg hashish

29.32706 kg solid chemical precursors

10440 liters liquid precursors

55.3066 liters Alcohol

The above mentioned quantities of drugs were seized by Afghan security and detective organizations.

Based on the CJTF ILD report, 34 provinces have sent narcotic cases to the CJTF ILD from across the country and  18 provinces have cases.  included 28 cases from Nagarhar, 18 cases from Herat, 13 cases from Kabul. and also 63 cases have referred to other provinces. Within the Third quarter 1395, 16 provinces have recorded zero referrals. In the aforementioned period, Nangarhar, Herat and Kabul provinces are on top of the CJTF list.
