FIRST QUARTER 1394 (April - June 2015)

CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Department:

In the first quarter of 1394, the CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Dept received 184 serious narcotics and intoxicating drinks cases including 233 suspects from across the country.

The total quantities of seized drugs along with their cases were sent to the CJTF Investigation and Laboratory Dept within the first quarter of 1394, are as follows:

1,515.717 kg heroin

5 kg morphine

9,646.210 kg opium

26,405.29 kg hashish

1,617 kg solid chemical precursors

2,002 liters liquid precursors 

6,458.890 liters Alcohol 

The above mentioned quantities of drugs were seized by Afghan security and detective organizations. 

Based on the CJTF ILD report, 19 provinces have sent narcotic cases to the CJTF ILD from across the country included 14 cases from Kabul and also 170 cases have referred to other provinces. Within the first quarter 1394, 15 provinces have recorded zero referrals. In the aforementioned period, Kandahar, Helmand and Nangarhar provinces are on top of the CJTF list, Kandahar by having 36 cases, Helmand by having 23 cases and Nangarhar by having 20 cases each.
