Progress report of Investigation& Laboratory of Police, General Prosecution Directorate, Primary court and Appeal court of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre:
During the month of 22 June 2020 – 22 July 2020 Police of Counter Narcotics and other detective Organization in the link to 99 case, have been arrested 139 suspect including 1 female from across the country, their cases are dispatched to CNJC for further investigation.
Department of Investigation Laboratory of Police reviewed all of the aforementioned cases within 72 hour and forwarded all the suspects’ cases to the General Prosecution Department of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre for further investigation.
Based on the proposal of the Special Prosecutor’s Office and primary court decree, 4 vehicles, 13 weapon , 126 different type of mobile phones have been seized from the traffickers and also(154056) Afghanis with($ 400 ) have been handed over to the Da Afghanistan Bank definitive account.
Meanwhile during the month of 22 June 2020 – 22 July 2020 around 80 individuals including14 public service and a female in the link to 59 case, have been sentenced to imprisonment from four month and eight day up to 30 year by the primary court of CNJC.
On the other hand during this time after the decision of Appeal of Counter Narcotics Justice Centre the decision of 30 cases issued by Supreme Court’s public security bureau of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
It should be noted that in connection with the received theorem in total the amount of (334,556)kg heroin (106,38) kg morphine (1546,7) kg opium (2291,65) kg hashish (610) kg poppy,(32581) kg henbane,(630) litter of alcoholic drink),( 5869,050)acid,(87,85) kg of Methamphetamine, (2602,08)kg of solid chemical (13,895)kg of Tablet k are discovered and seized.
Provinces with the highest number of crime:
During the month of 22 June 2020 – 22 July 2020 current year Nangarhar having 25 cases and also Kabul having 25 cases of drug trafficking are at the top of the list of provinces with high-level cases of smuggling and drug trafficking.
It should be noted that during the last month in the link to 53 cases of drug trafficking, 56 people are detained from all over the country and their cases already dispatched to for further investigation.
Based on last changes to the penalty code of Counter Narcotics, accordance Articles 16 and 17 of the Law fight against alcohol and drugs jurisdiction CNJC has the authority of interrogation or (handling) more than one kilogram of heroin, more than 10 kilogram of opium, more than 50 kilogram of hashish, more than 200 liter of alcoholic drink, more than one kilogram of Morphine, more than 10 gram of intoxicating synthetic substance, more than 5 liter acid of acetic anhydride, intoxicants, and those who committed more than 50 acres of narcotic substance will be punished base on the law, the mentioned substances are from all over the country.
